ENTERPRISE, Ala. — A 28-year-old man has been charged with threatening to blow up a woman's home.
Enterprise police say Jose Chavez was arrested Dec. 31 after he told the woman he and friends built a bomb and put it under her house.

Authorities say Chavez followed the woman into the house, kicked down the door and threatened the woman again before dragging her outside.
Police say Chavez ran from then and fought with officers who attempted to restrain him. Authorities found no bombs after searching the home.
Chavez, who is being held in the Coffee County Jail, also faces burglary, criminal mischief and resisting arrest charges.
